Frontend Developer (Next.js + React) — Mid-Level — Lahore, Pakistan (Hybrid)
About Haulvana
Haulvana is a B2B SaaS platform built for the waste management and hauling industry — the backbone of every city, yet one of the most underserved sectors in technology. We give haulers, municipalities, and enterprise operations the tools they've never had: intelligent dispatch routing, real-time driver communication, automated billing, customer portals, and a 72-hour onboarding promise that gets teams live fast.
We're early-stage, lean, and moving fast. Every person on the team has direct impact on the product and the customer. If you want to write code that drives real trucks on real routes — not just move pixels — this is the role for you.
The Role
We're looking for a mid-level Frontend Developer to join our core product team and help build the interface that hauling operators interact with every day. You'll work closely with our founders and design partners to translate complex operational workflows — dispatch boards, route maps, billing dashboards, driver portals — into fast, clean, intuitive UIs.
This is not a ticket-queue job. You'll have ownership of features end-to-end, contribute to architecture decisions, and see your work ship within days, not quarters.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain performant, accessible UI components using Next.js and React
- Develop complex data-heavy views: dispatch boards, route visualizations, analytics dashboards, billing screens
- Integrate with REST APIs and real-time data streams for live operational data
- Collaborate with our design partners to implement pixel-accurate, responsive layouts from Figma
- Write clean, maintainable TypeScript — components, hooks, utilities
- Participate in product discussions and contribute ideas that improve the user experience
- Own frontend features from design handoff to production
- Help establish frontend standards, code review practices, and component library patterns
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2–4 years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency in React.js — hooks, context, component patterns, performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with Next.js (App Router or Pages Router)
- TypeScript — comfortable writing typed components and utilities from scratch
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling async data flows
- Solid understanding of responsive design, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
- Git — branching, PRs, code reviews
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in written English
Nice to Have
- Experience with mapping libraries (Google Maps, Mapbox, Leaflet) — big plus for our dispatch and routing views
- Familiarity with real-time data (websockets, server-sent events)
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS products
- Exposure to Node.js or backend APIs
- Strong GitHub portfolio or open-source contributions
Our Stack
Next.js · React · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS · Node.js · PostgreSQL · Twilio · Vercel · Figma
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (discussed upon interview)
- Health insurance benefit
- Equipment/tools allowance
- Hybrid work flexibility
- Direct access to founders — no bureaucracy, no middlemen
- 6-month salary reviews
- Fast career growth as the company scales
The base pay range for this role is $287 – $521 per month.
