Work alongside colleagues in an agile environment to develop and maintain the front end of
the Company’s existing and future applications, helping to ensure they are user-friendly,
robust, and meet all functional and non-functional specifications .
Essential:
? Strong user interface design and best practices
? Javascript and HTML/CSS to a high standard
? Understanding of cross browser compatibility requirements
? Secure development practices and understanding of key security considerations
when web based applications
? Developing within a Javascript framework, such as Angular JS and/or ReactJS
? Developing applications using libraries such as jQuery
? Utilisation of WebSocket based technologies to build highly responsive applications
? Mobile application development using frameworks such as React Native
? Writing automated unit and functional tests using testing frameworks
? Source control systems, preferably Git
Skills Required
- Strong user interface design skills and knowledge of best practices
- High-standard JavaScript and HTML/CSS development skills
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility requirements
- Knowledge of secure development practices and key web application security considerations
- Experience developing with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS
