As a Freelance Microsoft 365 Consultant at AmeXio, you’ll be part of a strong team of experienced consultants. You’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise to design and deliver solutions within the Microsoft 365 landscape, always ensuring agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards are met. You’ll define clear technical structures, critically assess implementation options, and play a key role in both internal project communication and acting as a technical point of contact for the client’s day-to-day questions.

Job description
  • Understanding Client Needs: Identifying the real needs behind client requests and ensuring solutions meet both client requirements and Microsoft 365 best practices.
  • Communication: Ensuring clients and project teams clearly understand the proposed solutions and remain up to date on design and project progress.
  • Developing Innovative Solutions: Designing and delivering modern solutions that meet client needs and add value to their organisation.
  • Quality Focus: Applying standards and best practices to continuously raise project quality.
  • Information Architecture: Designing, configuring and documenting the information architecture (including content types, metadata, roles and permissions).
  • Collaboration: Actively supporting the team and clients to identify and resolve challenges as they arise.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying and escalating risks such as scope creep, technical challenges or other potential issues to the project manager.
  • Constructive Communication: Engaging with clients in a professional, constructive way to ensure their requirements are fully understood and addressed.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in SharePoint.
  • Solid knowledge of AzurePower Platform and other Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused with strong analytical skills — able to lead workshops and clearly document outcomes.
  • A strong team player who enjoys sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience with development in PowerShell and SPFx.
  • Experience with intranet solutions such as Powell and/or Purview would be an advantage.
  • Experience with development in .NET or FME would also be a plus.

Skills Required
