Rally is a Y Combinator-backed fleet payments platform modernising how fleets across Europe pay, reconcile and control spend. We replace fragmented fuel cards, manual invoicing and siloed expense workflows with cards, payments rails and consolidated billing, reducing admin, improving control and giving fleet managers real-time visibility. We’re early stage, high growth, and building a repeatable GTM in DACH and beyond.
This is an early-career, hands-on SDR role with a lot of autonomy: you will own German-language top-of-funnel, learn a repeatable sales craft, and be coached toward quota-carrying roles.
- Own outbound prospecting for German-speaking accounts: research, list building and multi-touch outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn).
- Qualify incoming and outbound leads against Rally’s ideal customer profile and book high-quality meetings for AEs.
- Design go-to-market strategy for Germany and DACH.
- Manage the early-stage client relationship.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to pass feedback, refine ICPs, and improve conversion rates.
- Prepare concise, compelling briefing notes for AEs prior to demos.
- Hit weekly and monthly KPIs (calls, meetings booked, qualified pipeline) and show steady improvement.
- Consistently deliver a steady cadence of qualified German-language meetings.
- Master Rally’s value props and objection handling for fleet payments.
- Own CRM hygiene and reporting; demonstrate measurable uplift in outreach conversion.
- Be coachable: implement feedback and increase meeting-booking rate week-over-week.
- Based in Berlin, Germany.
- Fluent German (spoken & written). Native or near-native proficiency.
- Strong working English (B2+).
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales, customer service or related roles; first SDR roles welcomed.
- Coachable, resilient, and metrics-driven mindset.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection; persistent but respectful.
- Interest or background in fleet, logistics, mobility or payments.
- Previous cold-calling or B2B outreach experience in DACH markets.
- Backed by Y Combinator and led by a high-calibre team with experience at Meta, Uber, Stripe and Delivery Hero.
- Disrupting an overlooked $1 trillion payments category: fleet payments remain fragmented and underserved, creating a large, durable opportunity to replatform how fleets pay, reconcile and control spend.
