We’re hiring a founding Product Manager — someone early in their career who can own product end-to-end with the founders. Marketing and public brand stay with the founding team; you make the product impossible to leave.
What you’ll do
- Own core product loops: chat + API experience, onboarding, retention, and privacy UX that users actually understand
- Turn “private by design” into clear product decisions (not marketing copy)
- Ship fast with eng — specs, prioritization, experiments, launch notes
- Talk to users (power users, privacy-conscious builders, early adopters) and turn signal into roadmap
- Partner with founders on positioning when product needs a public narrative
Must-haves
- Technical background (CS / eng / math / physics degree or equivalent technical work)
- Experience or internships at an AI / consumer software company (or shipping consumer products with real users)
- Passion for consumer products — you obsess over craft, clarity, and delight
- Comfortable in US / Bay Area startup culture
- Early-career founding energy (new grad to ~2–4 years) — IC who still ships, not a process PM
- Curious about open source LLMs and privacy
Nice-to-haves
- Built or shipped an AI feature, agent workflow, or consumer app (0→1 signal)
- Comfortable reading technical docs / APIs (OpenAI-compatible stacks a plus)
- Cross-cultural experience
- Some public presence (writing, demos, podcasts) is a bonus

- Pure brand / CMO / social-first marketers (founders cover that)
- Enterprise B2B PMs with no consumer DNA
- Non-technical PMs who can’t partner deeply with eng
- Big-co process owners who need heavy process to move

Skills Required
- Technical background, such as a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics, or equivalent technical work
- Experience or internships at an AI or consumer software company, or experience shipping consumer products with real users
- Passion for consumer products and strong product craft
- Comfort working in US or Bay Area startup culture
- Early-career experience, from new graduate to approximately 2–4 years
- Curiosity about open-source large language models and privacy
- Experience building or shipping an AI feature, agent workflow, or consumer application
- Ability to read technical documentation and work with APIs; OpenAI-compatible stacks are a plus
- Cross-cultural experience
- Public presence through writing, demos, or podcasts
What We Do
askDodo is a private AI inference platform designed to separate account and funding activity from inference requests. Account identity, payment data, account cookies, and account tokens are not sent with prompts to the inference gateway.
