Public servants across the U.S. use Closure to expedite investigations into cold cases, homicides, gang conflicts, sexual assault, and other serious offenses. We’re looking for a Founding Operations Lead to work directly with the founders and help build and execute the operational backbone of Closure. This is a true founding-hire role: broad in scope, high in trust, and heavy on execution, reporting to the CEO.
You will own the unglamorous but critical work that keeps the company running smoothly and enables our team to move faster—customer launches, conferences, internal operations, recruiting support, and business development logistics. As Closure scales, this role will evolve alongside the company.
This is not a passive or narrow ops role. We’re looking for someone who sees chaos as an opportunity to create leverage.
- Conference & Events PlanningPlan and execute conferences, trade shows, and in-person trainings.
- Own logistics end-to-end.
- Help evaluate ROI and decide which events are worth attending.
- Launch OpsCoordinate and execute customer launches with police departments and prosecutors
- Improve repeatable launch checklists, timelines, and post-launch feedback loops
- Support BD operations
- Internal & Office OperationsOwn day-to-day office and internal operations (vendors, tooling, logistics, policies).
- Source, design, and manage Closure merch for conferences, customers, and recruiting. Treat merch as a strategic asset—not swag for swag’s sake.

Compensation
- Salary: $75k - $175k, varying based on experience and fit
- Equity: Meaningful ownership stake, with room for growth as the role evolves
