Compensation and benefits
GTM software was built for people clicking through interfaces. That is changing.
Agents can now research markets, find buyers, enrich data and run workflows themselves. But the infrastructure underneath them is unreliable: dozens of vendors, inconsistent data and brittle automations.
Deepline gives technical teams one programmable layer for GTM data and workflows. We think this will become basic infrastructure for how companies grow.
We're building the team & the machine to scale that process out.
We are getting strong inbound from mid-market and enterprise companies. You will work directly with the founders and customers to understand what large teams need, help them get value from Deepline and turn those lessons into a sales process we can repeat.
This is not a job for someone who wants to inherit a playbook. There isn’t one - and expectations across everything from pricing, to onboarding to time to value change on a weekly basis.
- Own mid-market and enterprise opportunities from first conversation through close and expansion
- Get unusually good at understanding the customer’s work, not merely their software budget
- Turn inbound interest into clear use cases, pilots and commercial agreements
- Help customers prove value quickly
- Find the common patterns across our best customers
- Define our ICP, qualification process, pricing and enterprise motion
- Build the materials and systems needed to make the motion repeatable
- Bring customer feedback directly into product decisions
- Run thoughtful outbound experiments where we see a strong reason to reach out
- Help decide when - and whom - to hire next
In your first year, success means we understand who buys Deepline, why they buy it, how they get value and how to make that happen repeatedly.
- You have built or helped build an early B2B sales motion
- You have "killer instinct"
- You are excellent at discovery and can make a technical product legible to business buyers
- You can work with technical founders, engineers, GTM engineers and revenue leaders
- You know how to run a pilot without letting it become consulting
- You can navigate security, procurement and multi-stakeholder deals
- You write clearly, follow through and keep a small team close to the customer
- You are comfortable doing the work yourself before building a team
- You care more about learning what works than defending how sales is “supposed” to work
Developer-tools experience is useful, but not required. Technical curiosity is required. Our customers are technical, and you should enjoy understanding what they are building.
This is closer to building a company’s commercial motion than joining an established sales team.
Deepline has raised $3.3 million from Lerer Hippeau, Exceptional Capital, the founders of Looker and experienced operators and scouts from a16z, Felicis and NEA.
Our three technical founders previously built at Uber, Lyft, Capchase and OM1.
We work with technical founders, GTM engineers and engineering-led revenue teams—from fast-growing AI and developer companies to larger organizations with complex data and workflow needs.
More than 2,000 companies have signed up in the first 4 months since launch with minimal marketing.
The product has more pull than the company has people to manage it. That is the opportunity.
We are fans of big swings. This will be hard work. It should also be the most fun job you have ever had.
Life is short, and we want building Deepline to feel ambitious, customer-obsessed and have a little bit of whimsy.
You will have real ownership, direct access to customers and a large say in what the company becomes.
Competitive base salary, meaningful performance-based compensation and founding-team equity.
We also offer healthcare, flexible time off, a great equipment setup and regular time together as a team. Exact benefits depend on location.
