About the role:

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at DeepJudge, you own the technical implementation of our AI search platform for some of the world's leading law firms. Every customer environment is different: from cloud-native deployments to complex on-premise infrastructure, enterprise identity providers, document management systems, and datasets containing hundreds of millions of documents. Your mission is to ensure customers successfully deploy, integrate, and adopt DeepJudge in their environments.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing engineering role that sits at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise AI. You'll spend your time deploying software, solving complex integration and infrastructure challenges, troubleshooting production issues during customer implementations, and working directly with engineering teams to continuously improve the product and deployment experience. You'll collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to make every deployment faster, more reliable, and easier to operate. If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems, working directly with customers, and seeing the impact of your work in production, this role is for you. No travel is required for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning the technical solution end to end, from architecture and hands-on implementation through production rollout and adoption, adapting DeepJudge to the customer's environment and needs along the way.

• Deploying and configuring DeepJudge across cloud and on-premise customer environments.

• Integrating DeepJudge with enterprise systems such as document management systems, identity providers, cloud platforms, and other data sources.

• Troubleshooting complex issues across deployments, infrastructure, networking, authentication, integrations, and application behavior.

• Building deployment automation, implementation tooling, documentation, and operational playbooks that make customer deployments faster, easier, and more scalable.

• Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to solve complex technical challenges and improve both the product and deployment experience.

• Bringing recurring customer requirements and challenges back to the team and helping turn them into product and engineering improvements.

• Taking ownership beyond your immediate projects: spotting what is missing, fixing what is broken, and helping us build the processes and tools we need as we scale.

You're a great fit if you:

• Have 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Forward Deployment, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical role.

• Have experience deploying or operating enterprise software in production environments.

• Have experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Azure or GCP.

• Enjoy working directly with enterprise customers, building trusted technical relationships, and guiding complex implementation projects from kickoff to production.

• Enjoy troubleshooting complex technical problems that span infrastructure, integrations, and application behavior.

• Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Bonus: Experience with enterprise search, AI/LLM platforms, document management systems, Infrastructure as Code, or experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
