Position Summary: Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing client relationships. This includes actively promoting financial planning and investment solutions for families and institutions. Establish, implement, and support programs designed to generate new business and support various aspects of investment and financial services.
Position Responsibilities
- Sit on Investment Committee and be a key teammate to evaluate MVIA’s internal & external research process.
- Meet regularly with current clients and prospects regarding their specific investment & financial needs and offer customized solutions.
- Support and help facilitate Audit and Compliance infrastructure.
- Assist in general client service needs & requests for clients.
- Be conversant with applicable core record keeping systems.
- Manage and facilitate implemented financial software and planning platforms.
- Coordinate various client transactions, documents and general client service needs
- Assist with planning and preparation of seminars, training, and presentation materials.
- Refer investment clients to other areas of the bank.
- Generate new business through internal referrals and organic branch educational meetings and referral networks.
- Any other duties or projects assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Licenses: Series 7, 66 required. Series 65 and Life/Health/Annuity licenses.
- Strong commitment to putting clients’ needs ahead of your own.
- Engaging interpersonal skills, polished presentation skills, and savvy computer skills required.
- Strong passion for critical thinking and expanding your investment knowledge base.
Physical & Environmental Aspects
- Work is sedentary, requiring only minimum physical demands with extended periods of sitting.
- Work Conditions: Work is normally performed in an office environment with frequent travel to customer locations.
