As Vicarious Surgical's Director of Investor Relations, you'll create a vision for and develop Vicarious Surgical’s overall investor relations program, strategy, and roadmap. In partnership with the executive team, you'll develop comprehensive investment messaging communicating our strategy and financials to investors. In this role, you'll manage investor targeting, advise cross-company communications, and lead all facets of the quarterly earnings process.

This position reports to the CFO and has the opportunity to be based out of our Waltham, MA location.  We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a spokesperson to investors, research analysts, and other key constituents  and develop relationships with these groups by communicating company strategy, priorities, and competitive advantage
• Build a vision for a best-in-class investor relations program and execute on this vision by developing and adopting appropriate processes, protocols, and systems
• Collaborate with company executives to create and distribute strategic, value-driving investment messages, including news releases, board and investor meeting materials, and other key collateral for internal and external communications
• Appropriately advance the company’s financial narrative as a key contributor to quarterly earnings and other press releases, internal and external presentations
• Assist with presentations for investor, corporate communications and marketing initiatives, events and investor conferences, road shows and other activities as necessary
• Perform research and provide business, industry, competitive, and market insights to key internal stakeholders, and report to executives on stock performance, positioning, competitive analyses, and any potential activities that could impact the company.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work experience
• 8-10+ years of investor relations experience, or related experience engaging with investors; with knowledge of investor rules and regulations
• Self-motivated with an optimistic and results-driven attitude
• Tech-savvy with the intellectual curiosity to improve systems and processes
• Strong leadership skills, and proactive problem-solving approach
• Strong multi-tasking skills; organized and attentive to details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely interface with all levels of management
