Description

Abilities Network, a multiple year winner of the Baltimore Sun’s Top Workplace award, is looking for a Finance Coordinator to support the Finance Department. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 2-3 in-office days per week. This position’s primary responsibilities are accounts receivables, accounts payables, audit support, and managing the grant invoice process. The Finance Coordinator also manages technology inventory and functions as the payroll administrator. This position is expected to support the overall operation of Abilities Network when needed. Certain tasks may be asked that do not fall into the essential functions of this job. 

The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.00 per hour and is non-negotiable.

What will I do at Abilities Network?

· Manage accounts payables and accounts receivables

· Manage the grant invoice process

· Administer and process payroll

· Manage technology inventory and set up including laptops, cell phones, security cards

· Track and maintain inventory of grant agreements

· Initiate and administer internal controls related to assigned responsibilities

· Research and resolve errors

· Provide audit support and work on special projects as assigned

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

 · Associate's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred

 · Two years of bookkeeping experience

 · Experience using BILL financial software, or similar software, preferred

 · Six months of payroll experience preferred

Competencies & Qualifications:

· Ability to perform under minimal supervision using independent judgement and initiative

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Comfortable with all types of technology i.e. proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel

· Self-motivated and results driven

· Maintains flexible and collaborative work ethic
