Join Consumer Banking as a strategic leader and the primary point of contact for financial decision-making across your aligned territory. You’ll partner closely with two Region Directors and key stakeholders, contribute to broader divisional and national initiatives, and reinforce the firm’s business model for generating customer value while propelling financial and non-financial results.

 

As a Regional Business Manager in Consumer Banking, you will serve as a trusted advisor to your Region Directors, providing strategic financial input and analytical leadership. You’ll plan, develop, implement, and evaluate regional performance—turning business and financial drivers into strategies that deliver results. You will build strong relationships across the region and the broader finance organization, maintain a clear view of the competitive landscape, and help influence business strategy and key initiatives.

Job Responsibilities 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Region Directors, providing clarity on how to use analytics to gain insights, evaluate metrics, and propel results
  • Provide strategic analytical and business management support for Consumer Banking, including planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating regional performance
  • Produce reporting and analyze financial results, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
  • Leverage business and financial principles and key business drivers to plan across the region, assess performance requirements, and develop strategies with the Regional Leadership Team
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the region (e.g., One Chase partners, Operations, HR, Recruiting) in conjunction with the Region Director
  • Act as a conduit to the broader finance organization (e.g., P&A, Workforce Planning, Data & Analytics, Operational Risk)
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape, leveraging industry expertise and insights to develop performance metrics aligned with firm priorities
  • Influence new business strategy, strategic initiatives, or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance)
  • Optimize bottom-line business performance by driving key initiatives
  • Partner with the Region Director to drive business reviews—planning and coordinating region and market KPIs and identifying trends for discussion within the territory
  • Represent the business in internal and external working groups
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 
  • 5+ years of experience in financial organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, partner with, and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and lines of business to drive strategic efforts and enhance reporting and analysis
  • Ability to navigate complex financial situations to maximize results, and to stand alone and influence the actions of others outside their reporting structure
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial reporting software
  • Proven ability to lead a team and develop individuals
  • Ability to travel, primarily within the supported regions
