The Finance Assistant is a frontline, hands-on position that supports the agency’s fiscal department in all areas. The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in completing various accounting functions, including monthly financial account entries and reconciliations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with CS Billing – Residential and ISS
- Support ED billing -Track and analyze all Eval Billing – Following up on outstanding balances
- Process and update SNAP Benefits for CS Department
- Assist with all PA requests
- Organize and scan all Mail communication for the CS Billing Team
- Support Agency audits by providing necessary documents and information
- Works cross-functionally with staff in other departments.
- Collaborates in Ad-hoc Projects as needed.
- At least two years of experience in an accounting role. Non-for-profit experience is a plus
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office & associated products
Experience with Accounting software - Intacct experience (a plus but not required
