Role
·FE Analysis for Mechatronic, electromechanical powertrain/ transmission systems for Electric Vehicles – Automotive OEM & Tier 1
·Electric Vehicle design of : Transmission / Gearbox/ Drivetrain / Actuation systems/ rotating machinery , Electromechanical Actuation systems
·Full project schedule ownership from design, creation to delivery
·Working with clients and suppliers
·Design Engineering
Essential Experience Required
- FE Analysis (using eg Ansys Workbench, Altair Hyperworks or similar)
- NVH
·CAE
·BEng / Meng Engineering – ideally Mechanical, Mechatronic or electromechanical. OrElectrical, Electronic, Automotive or similar.
Advantage:
·Electric vehicle design Engineering ( Hybrid/HEV/ EV experience)
·Experience in design of rotating machinery – any of transmission, drivetrain, powertrain, gearbox, actuators, motors
·Systems integration, electronic drive systems.
Please note that this Role is only for Mechanical Engineers with FE & ideally experience in rotating machinery – ideally EV/ Hybrid vehicles.

Skills Required
- Finite Element Analysis using Ansys Workbench, Altair HyperWorks or similar

- General CAE (computer-aided engineering) experience
- BEng or MEng in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Automotive or similar
- Mechanical engineering background with FE experience

- Design experience with rotating machinery (transmission, drivetrain, gearbox, actuators, motors)

- Experience working with clients and suppliers and owning project schedules
