ABOUT MOBS FASHION
MOBS Fashion sells one-of-a-kind women’s statement pieces from contemporary designer, vintage, and luxury brands – from Fendi to Anthropologie to dresses from the 70s. Our business is online only and currently on the Poshmark social media platform, which is a hybrid of Ebay and Instagram. Sales took off immediately, revenue grew another 375% in 8 months, and we gain 200 new followers a day. Shoppers want more of what we offer, so help us explore fresh ways to give it to them!

Our Business Analysis & Process Operations intern is focused on profitability and efficiency of current operations. This internship great for MBA and business students exploring careers in retail, finance, strategy management consulting, entrepreneurship, project management, and business process engineering. Sample responsibilities:
- Develop excel dashboards to track sales and retail key performance indicators
- Analyze past sales and external data and build annual inventory plan
- Build financial plans in accordance with merchandise strategies to maximize profitability
- Assess the current state of operations and establish performance metrics for various workflows
- Develop workflow diagrams and draft playbooks to document business processes
- Drive decision making to achieve financial and strategic targets
- Proven analytical acumen in data modeling, analysis, forecasting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills – very adept as vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting, some experience with macros, VBA preferrred
- Familiarity with Airtable and Quickbooks online a plus
- MBA and graduate students with prior work experience preferred, some formal education in a field relevant to the role required
ABOUT MOBS INTERNSHIPS
MOBS provides both hands-on training and feedback in a safe space, as well as opportunity for immediate, real-world impact. You'll get a true learning experience that connects the dots between academics, small business, and corporate reality.
Our interns get a small cash stipend, but we select candidates who are truly seeking time, attention, and feedback. This is our way to offer young professionals the mentorship and practical training we wish we’d received as students.
Final job descriptions will be adjusted to showcase the strengths of each intern and to build a balanced team that can combine talents in-person and virtually to succeed while maintaining social distance.
HIRING PROCESS
