Position Overview

CT United FC is seeking a Fan Activation & Promotions Intern to support the execution of promotional campaigns and fan engagement initiatives designed to build excitement, drive attendance, and enhance the in-game atmosphere at CT United matches. This role will assist with the planning and delivery of theme nights, giveaways, in-venue promotions, and fan-facing activations that bring the club’s brand to life. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in sports marketing, event promotions, and creating engaging fan experiences.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit may be available if required by your institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and present an assigned educational project
  • Assist with the execution of promotional and theme night campaigns
  • Support sponsor activations and fulfillment on matchdays
  • Help manage giveaways, contests, and fan engagement moments
  • Coordinate with grassroots street teams and community outreach efforts
  • Support in-game entertainment and promotional logistics

  • Enrolled in a university/college program or recent graduate (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and matchdays
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, live-event environments
  • Interest in sports marketing, live event management, or athletic administration
  • Prior experience with athletics or live events
