What We Do
AVERI, the AI Verification and Evaluation Research Institute, is a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on making third-party auditing of frontier AI effective and universal. It promotes independent verification of AI companies’ safety and security claims, develops rigorous audit methodologies and standards, and supports pilot assessments so powerful AI systems can be evaluated consistently by external experts, especially for leading AI labs and developers.
