The Gig:
We are seeking an experienced person with 2-5 years of expertise in US/UK accounting, taxation, and payroll management. The ideal candidate will independently oversee all aspects of our US/UK accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Income Tax. Proficiency in GST reconciliation and advanced Excel functions is essential. The candidate should demonstrate proactive leadership and a commitment to excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Execute payment runs and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Support month-end accrual tasks and maintain the vendor matrix.
- Perform expense analysis and vendor reconciliations.
- Drive automation initiatives within Accounts Payable, including:
- Vendor ledger management
- Purchase Order (PO) and AP allocations
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and manage UK VAT compliance.
- Handle intercompany transactions and assist with UK payroll processes.
- Prepare and submit multiple ad-hoc expense analysis requests promptly, as and when directed by management.
About You:
- 2–5 years in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations.
- Experience in automation and process improvement.
- US/UK Accounting Knowledge
- MBA/Master of Commerce/Bachelor of Commerce
- Business Central Knowledge added advantage
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and financial operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Power BI expertise is considered an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
