Brown Advisory is currently seeking a professional, energetic and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support the Private Client Team in our Washington, DC office. Candidates must possess the professional maturity to handle confidential and delicate issues and internal matters.

The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional support to Brown Advisory team members, clients, vendors, and other external contacts, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong judgment, professionalism, and clear, concise communication.

  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the team, identify potential issues, recommend solutions, and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

  • Manage multiple priorities independently with strong organization, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through, while proactively seeking guidance when appropriate.

  • Coordinate executive communications and administrative support, including managing calls and emails, scheduling meetings and appointments, coordinating travel, and helping prioritize requests and competing demands.

  • Prepare, edit, and maintain internal and external documents, presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and other materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including conference rooms, conference calls, presentation technology, and other meeting-related requirements.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors, and other external contacts across the firm.

  • Manage and maintain data integrity within Salesforce, including data updates, reporting, and user support.

  • Leverage AI and other technology tools to enhance productivity, streamline administrative processes, support research and content development, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency while adhering to firm policies and appropriate data-handling practices.

  • Demonstrate adaptability, initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities in support of the team and broader firm.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.

  • Superior written and oral communication skills

  • Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information

Salary: $75-$90k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long-term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
