Role and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining source codes, unit and system testing their code, building high quality application solutions to design specifications, standards, and user requirements by developing and testing components in an iterative manner through an Agile process.
The candidate will collaborate with the Designer, Technical Lead , Business Stakeholders and Systems Integration partners throughout the development and delivery lifecycle to ensure that the code meets technical design frameworks, requirements and best practices.

· Capturing / analyzing / negotiating / clarifying requirements (i.e. customer, system, performance)
· Participating in the creation and execution of development and implementation plans
· Designing technology solutions to meet requirements (Websphere MQ, Websphere Message Broker, Web Services, Websphere Application Server, UDB, AIX, zOS, Windows 2003)
· Coding executable components that comply with the overall solution design (Websphere Message Broker, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP, COBOL, Java, Oracle Applications, Visual Basic etc…)
· Testing the executable components and assisting with the coordination of the overall testing effort
· Producing and maintaining relevant solution documentation

· Strong knowledge and experience with applying design patterns, object-oriented analysis and design, service-oriented architecture, n-tier architecture, and leading edge coding practices such as clean code and refactoring
· Practical understanding of enterprise and web architecture and REST
· 1+ years of software / application design and development experience in a true Agile / Scrum / XP environment with proven skill and effectiveness in the use of Agile SDLC methodologies
