Summary
Our ERP Project Manager is responsible for the day to day project management and coordinated delivery of IT solutions for stakeholders. The role brings together software delivery teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and governance partners to turn agreed objectives into an executable delivery plan, manage progress, and keep delivery moving toward the intended outcome.
This role focuses on practical execution rather than ownership of SDLC design or team development practices. The ERP Project Manager coordinates the efforts of product, analysis, architecture, development, testing, change, deployment, and support roles, manages schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, and provides clear status communication so teams can deliver agreed outcomes.
Essential Job Functions
- Delivery of business critical programs of work.
- Coordinate with cross functional technology and business teams to deliver our new ERP solution.
- Manage and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, maintaining a consultative approach to gauge the current state and identify strategic next steps.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring alignment and adoption across all levels involved in the program.
- Deliver key metrics on time, within scope, and within budget.
Education/Experience
- Proven experience delivering enterprise ERP implementations or upgrades.
- Experience leading the end to end planning, coordination, and governance of complex technology projects, including developing integrated project plans and managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, RAID logs, dependencies, and critical milestones to ensure successful delivery against business objectives.
- Strong business acumen and a complementary technology background, particularly in managing all areas of the ERP system including Order to Cash, Manufacturing, In House, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.
- Demonstrable project management experience delivering software, systems, or technology change through coordinated cross functional teams.
- Experience creating and managing integrated project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, decision logs, action trackers, and status reports.
- Experience using work tracking and planning tools, preferably JIRA, to provide transparent progress reporting and manage delivery discipline.
