The Equipment Sales Manager owns that business: quoting, selling and delivering new and used production equipment to new and existing customers. • Turn incoming requests from AEs, the website, manufacturers and existing clients into accurate quotes, typically within one business day.
  • Price within category margin guidelines and get approval before going below them.
  • Sell retired rental inventory in coordination with the Asset team.

Procurement & Operations

  • Source product from manufacturers and distributors, issue POs and drop-ship orders, and track delivery through to the customer.
  • Maintain the pipeline, quotes and orders in our CRM and ERP, and report weekly on pipeline, gross profit and open orders.
  • Follow up on open quotes and help Accounting collect on sales orders when needed.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping orders as necessary.

Vendor & Business Development

  • Build relationships with manufacturer territory managers to secure dealer pricing, demo gear and leads.
