About the job

Take industrial AI to market.

We're building AI systems for some of the world's most complex industrial environments.

Our flagship product, ScrapChef, combines AI, physics and industrial data to optimise steelmaking. It helps major producers make better decisions about scrap purchasing, material mixes and furnace operations.

As our first Enterprise Marketing Lead, you'll turn senior executives at $1B+ industrial companies from strangers into warm, sales-ready relationships. You'll own the top of the funnel through conferences, executive events and thought leadership.
The role is based in Austin, Texas, with frequent travel.

What you'll do

You'll own how we find, win and keep enterprise customers:

  • Design the enterprise marketing strategy: which accounts, which executives and which moments matter most

  • Find, secure and run our presence at key industry conferences, and make sure the right people from target accounts are in the room

  • Host executive dinners and curated gatherings, from the invite list to the conversation on the night

  • Secure speaking slots for our leadership at major conferences

  • Write and place white papers, targeted blog posts and strategic emails aimed at specific accounts

  • Know which companies in each sector are exploring AI and what's holding them back, then get the right content in front of the right people

  • Lead executive conversations until they turn technical, then bring in the right salesperson

  • Deliver a steady flow of sales-qualified leads: senior decision-makers at $1B+ companies who know what we do and trust us

Why Prax?

Real-world impact: Build trust in technology that already runs in production and influences decisions worth millions of dollars.

Your strategy: You'll design the enterprise marketing playbook yourself, not execute someone else's.

Real momentum: Following our Series A, we're on track to grow bookings fivefold year on year.

New markets: Shape how Prax expands beyond steelmaking into new heavy industries.

Extreme ownership: Minimal bureaucracy and significant autonomy. You'll have direct influence over how Prax goes to market and scales.

Be early: Prax is at a stage where exceptional people can have a disproportionate impact on the company's trajectory.

Who we're looking for

We're interested in commercially minded self-starters who take full ownership of pipeline and brand without waiting for direction.

You might be a:

  • Events or field marketing lead at an enterprise SaaS company

  • Go-to-market or brand lead focused on large enterprise accounts

  • Executive programmes or business development lead

  • The person who books your CEO's keynote, runs your flagship conference and manages the executive relationship calendar

You'll ideally have:

  • Around 10 years in enterprise SaaS marketing

  • A track record of building qualified pipeline with very large accounts through events and executive relationships

  • Experience securing speaking slots and running executive events

  • Confidence leading conversations with C-suite and senior executives

  • Exceptional writing skills, from white papers to strategic executive emails

  • The ownership to build a strategy from scratch and execute it hands-on

  • A willingness to travel frequently to conferences, events and customer sites

Industry experience isn't required. We care far more about your ability to generate pipeline, tell a compelling story and turn ideas into revenue.

Interested?

Show us what you've driven.

Alongside your CV, tell us about 1–5 events, executive programmes, campaigns or relationships you're most proud of. That could be a conference you built, a keynote you landed for your CEO, or an executive dinner that opened a major account. Link to the work where you can.
