The Engineering and Technology Manager is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing engineering projects while managing financial aspects and supervising engineering teams. The role requires engineering expertise, leadership, personnel management, and business acumen to deliver commercially sound products or services. It also involves applying mechanical engineering principles such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid and aerodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis along with CAD, CAM, and product lifecycle management tools. The manager oversees engineering and scientific activities across multiple job families or functional teams and ensures that products meet customer, safety, and environmental requirements.
As an Engineering and Technology Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, designing, and overseeing engineering and technology projects.
- Managing financial components of engineering initiatives.
- Supervising engineering teams and supporting personnel management.
- Setting and achieving project goals and objectives.
- Overseeing engineering and scientific activities across job families or functional teams.
