Description:RMS - Owego is seeking a highly motivated, Test Engineer to perform scope of work in support of our Electronic Support Measures (ESM) product line. The candidate will be responsible for supporting development hardware testing, integration of development hardware into a production test environment and developing a sustainment plan to maintain testability throughout the life cycle of the product. Other responsibilities will include but is not limited to the following: authoring then analyzing/processing Program Trouble Reports (PTRs), generating Quality Notifications (QNotes), implementing hardware/software updates, STE certification/calibration, test plan development and test procedure management (i.e. development, release and maintenance).
The Locale: Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse New York. Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the "Southern Tier" section of New York State. The region is home to Binghamton University and Cornell University. Niagara Falls, NYC and Philadelphia are all within a few hours' drive from Owego. Rolling hillsides, historic homes, quaint country shops, riverside restaurants, unique farm tours, fabulous festivals and a beautiful river make this region a great place to live. Basic Qualifications:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Be experienced with evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:• Knowledge of RF, analog and digital circuitry
• Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, high frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, perform root cause analysis down to component level
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
