An Engineering Manager is part of a key team of Nordstrom Technology professionals that applies scientific, mathematical and social principles to design, build, and maintain technology products, devices, systems and solutions. The scope, responsibility and accountability are at the solution level.\\n\\nThis position is about...\\nWe are seeking an Engineering Manager to guide the growth and delivery of Supply Chain Transportation analytics within the Nordstrom Analytics Platform (NAP). The Transportation team is critical to our ability to capture "where is my inventory" from Supplier to Inbound and within Nordstrom. The signals are captured as business events across multiple systems and build out NAP components that drive near real-time decision making. The team develops analytical objects, profiles, and semantic layer for analytics to build Inbound Visibility and accurately measure transit and cycle time performance on international and domestic transit routes, as well as in-network routes. Our manager needs to have a balance of technical leadership and people management skills that empowers the team to deliver compelling features. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data to understand our customer's behavior and measure employee to customer engagement rate.
