Electrical Systems Integration Engineer
Location: Montreal, Quebec or Toronto, Ontario, Canada; United States (multiple locations)
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada OR the United States
Schedule: Hybrid (remote and onsite)
QualificationsRequirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems integration or related field
- Experience with aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems
- Experience with aircraft electrical system architecture development and integration
- Experience preparing and reviewing engineering documentation
- Experience supporting aircraft production and in-service modifications
- Experience conducting technical evaluations, trade studies, and technology integration activities
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, including:
- RTCA/DO-160
- SAE
- MIL-STD
- Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and guidance materials, including:
- Transport Canada (TCCA)
- FAA
- EASA
- Ability to work effectively with:
- Airworthiness teams
- Manufacturing teams
- Cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- French language skills preferred
- Interest in new technology development, system optimization, and continuous improvement preferred
