Electrical Fabrication Designer

• Electrical design, detailing, BIM, or fabrication design experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications.
• Experience developing constructible layouts and detailed installation drawings.
• Knowledge of conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, and support systems.
• CAD and/or BIM design experience.
• Strong spatial coordination and attention to detail.

• AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or comparable BIM software proficiency.
• Experience with electrical prefabrication or modular construction.
• Semiconductor, data center, battery, automotive, manufacturing, or cleanroom project experience.
• Electrical trade background combined with design experience.
• Experience working directly with field construction teams.
• BIM/VDC coordination experience.

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field

• 2–4 years of experience in a CAD drafting or technician role

• Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D required; 3D preferred)

• Familiarity with technical drawing standards and conventions (ANSI, ASME, etc.)

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, site plans, and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a project environment

• Experience in energy, utilities, civil, structural, or industrial drafting

• Working knowledge of additional software (Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or Navisworks)

• Knowledge of GIS systems, document control platforms, or project databases

• Field coordination or construction experience is a plus
