Job Description


The successful applicant will assume a key role in supporting the electronic development of the company’s semiconductor and scintillator-based radiation detector products, especially in medical imaging applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Own electronic design on prototype and product development of radiation detection instruments and medical imaging systems.
  • Manage product electronics’ schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
  • Communicate progress and achievement status to leadership, R&D partners, and others.

Skills and Experience:

A minimum of five years’ experience in the following areas:

  • High-speed analog and digital circuit design.
  • Medical device and imaging system design, prototype, and development.
  • Schematic design to PCB layout.
  • Simulation software such as SPICE is highly desirable.
  • Signal conditioning and DSP skill is a plus.
  • FPGA/Embedded system design and firmware development is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • A hands-on individual who works well in a team environment.

Education:

Higher degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Skills Required

  • At least five years of experience in high-speed analog and digital circuit design
  • At least five years of medical device and imaging system design, prototyping, and development experience
  • At least five years of experience taking schematic designs through PCB layout

  • Hands-on approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment
