At Qnity, our Early Career LEAP Rotational Program is designed to develop the next generation of engineering leaders through meaningful experiences across manufacturing, technology, automation, digital manufacturing, and operations.

We are seeking curious, agile, and collaborative engineers with relevant industry experience who are eager to solve complex challenges, leverage emerging technologies, drive innovation, and make a measurable impact from day one. 

Through structured rotational assignments, participants gain broad business exposure, technical expertise, leadership development, and mentorship while building a strong foundation for long-term career success at Qnity. Participants will have opportunities to work on initiatives involving advanced manufacturing technologies, automation systems, digital manufacturing, smart factory concepts, process optimization, data analytics, and operational excellence. 

In this program, you will contribute to projects focused on process improvement, operational excellence, product quality, equipment reliability, safety, manufacturing automation, digital transformation, manufacturing intelligence, and business performance. 

Program Structure 

This Early Career LEAP Rotational Program consists of a minimum of 3 assignments, each approximately 18 months in duration, providing broad exposure across multiple engineering functions, businesses, and locations.

Program Locations 

Participants may complete rotations at one or more of the following U.S. locations: 

Wilmington, DE 

Newark, DE 

Marlborough, MA 

Schaumburg, IL 

Bayport, TX 

Circleville, OH 

Towanda, PA 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution at the time of employment.

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 

  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship. 

Program Expectations 

  • 100% geographic flexibility to support developmental opportunities across program locations. 

  • Willingness to relocate as business and development needs require. 

  • Willingness to provide plant or manufacturing area support, including on-call responsibilities when required. 

  • Commitment to completing a structured Early Career LEAP Rotational Program consisting of a minimum of 3 assignments, each approximately 18 months in duration. 

  • Ability to work effectively in manufacturing, operations, technical, automation, and digital manufacturing environments while collaborating across multiple functions. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through academic, professional, or extracurricular activities. 

  • Strong initiative, adaptability, learning agility, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience with automation, controls, robotics, manufacturing systems, or digital technologies. 

  • Exposure to data analytics, process modeling, visualization tools, or manufacturing intelligence platforms. 

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and data-driven decision making. 

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or willingness to obtain certification during the program. 

  • Exposure to root cause analysis, process hazard analysis, manufacturing operations, process safety, or automated production systems. 

  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, automation, digital manufacturing, process improvement, or a related technical field.
