Your Role :

• 1. Accounts Receivable Management:
• Oversee and manage the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient processing of invoices and timely collection/accounting of payments.
• Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Monitor AR aging reports and take appropriate action to resolve outstanding balances.
• Ensure all customer accounts are reconciled regularly.




• 2. Invoicing and Collections:
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers.
• Implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and handle disputes or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues.




• 3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging analysis,
• DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and collection effectiveness.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on AR performance to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• File wise profitability reporting, work closely with other finance function to identify cost and ensure tracking with revenue to better performance tracking




• 4. Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in the AR process and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and integrate them into the AR processes.
• Leverage technology and automation to streamline AR operations.




• 5. Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AR team to enhance their performance and
• professional growth.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment.




• 6. Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Understanding & astute implementation of relevant tax laws in IDT (GST),
• DT (TDS, TCS) and other withholding taxes as may be applicable
• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits of the AR function.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifiers

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA
• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounts receivable or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
