As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management technology division, you will be given the unique opportunity to guide a skilled team of software engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage existing platform and it’s roadmap execution while laying out a strategy for it’s transformation to support future growth needs, in terms of core capabilities, data storage, distribution, privacy and optimization. You will get the chance to utilize your leadership and engineering skills, to manage the existing platform, transform agile processes and drive efficiencies in SDLC. You are expected to collaborate with global stakeholders in defining strategy for future platform evolution, that will directly influence sales and revenue for the company. Job Responsibilities
- Owns end-to-end delivery of the Sales Technology agenda (scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, outcomes).
- Builds and lead a high-performing engineering team; drive engineering excellence across SDLC, quality, reliability, security-by-design, and efficiency.
- Defines and executes the roadmap for global sales experience, data, and intelligence—balancing current needs and future growth.
- Sets and owns design and architecture standards; deliver scalable, resilient enterprise platforms using strong architecture and engineering practices.
- Strengthens partnerships with global technology teams and business stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
- Drives innovation and modernization, including AI-first delivery practices and technology adoption.
- Uses AI development tools to improve productivity, testing, code quality, and release confidence.
- Fosters strong collaboration across product, engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams with shared ownership.

- Sets direction and governance for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation within a technical area to drive measurable improvements in speed, quality, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-orchestrated delivery workflows, release readiness controls, automated test modernization, and incident triage acceleration), while establishing guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, traceability, and reuse across teams.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation and support capacity unlock initiatives at scale.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Deep expertise (5+ years) in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including platform configuration and extensibility for enterprise-scale implementations.
- Strong command of integration patterns and high-scale middleware design, including, Salesforce REST APIs, Streaming APIs (event-driven), and Bulk APIs. Designing and building complex integrations with high throughput, resiliency, and observability
- Enterprise architecture: proven ability to design high-scale systems (multi-region resiliency, performance engineering, data/identity patterns, API strategy).
- Strong AWS experience (architecture, security, scalability, reliability, cost optimization).
- Proven delivery excellence with measurable outcomes across concurrent workstreams.
- Experience leading global teams (vendor management where applicable).
- Strong domain exposure to Sales & Advisor focused Technology in financial services . Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across product, engineering, and architecture.
- Demonstrated passion for technology, a drive to innovate, and an ownership mindset for both delivery and engineering health. Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams through collaboration, inclusivity, talent development, and a continuous learning culture.
- Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering practices (using enterprise-authorized tools within the work environment) across teams, including defining operating expectations (human-in-the-loop validation, quality gates), measuring outcomes, and ensuring secure handling of sensitive inputs/outputs.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use and control expectations in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, resiliency/security implications, and governance; ability to influence leaders on safe scaling patterns and reuse.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Modern web technology frameworks: Lightning Web Components (preferred) and/or React (micro-frontend patterns a plus).
