Job Description- Establishing Marketing and sales activities including advertising and public relations.
- Develops sales and marketing plan and budget to reflect the company’s and the hotel’s goals and objectives in maximising revenue generation and profitability.
- Work with division heads to direct an efficient and effective sales and marketing plan
- Create business plan to ensure marketing objectives are achieved through: Increasing average rate, Increasing overall occupancy, Enhancing the image of the hotel in the local community
- Identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Develop strategies to increase high yield business volumes.
- Evaluate effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.
- Develop marketing and communication materials.
- Works with the Corporate Sales to manage the sales department.
- Upgrade communication networks to ensure a competitive advantage in sales leads.
- Organise Food & Beverage special projects to stimulate Sales with the community
- Create a monthly report on a timely basis for corporate office.
- Sets targets to the sales team.
- Active in the social and professional community.
- Appraises team and initiates appropriate corrective measures to improve deficiencies.
- Manage manpower in accordance to volume of business.
- Ensure every team member is an effective sales person to promote the hotel’s image and businesses at all times.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or relevant
- 5 years sales experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a 5 star class environment
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, resourceful and possesses leadership qualities
- Possesses professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $60,000 USD plus Flights & Accommodation Allowance
