The Customer Data Platform (CDP) Product team is a global organization within Marketing that builds Target’s next generation connected enterprise and guest experience platforms, unifying guest data and enabling AI-first, real-time personalization at scale. We drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that fuel growth and transform guest experiences through a modern, human-centered, uniquely Target approach.

The platform integrates upstream identity and guest data, CDP pipelines, real-time computation, audience decisioning engines, and downstream activation channels across Target’s marketing and media ecosystem.

By guiding strategy, financials, discovery, and execution, this leader ensures the platform meets Target’s standards for reliability, usability, modern architecture, and enterprise scale.

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product owners while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams.  You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties.  You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.
