Our organization is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Director of Human Resources to lead HR compliance, accreditation readiness, credentialing, and regulatory functions. This is a high‑impact leadership role reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and shaping the systems, standards, and culture that keep our workforce strong, compliant, and survey‑ready.
About the RoleAs the Director of Human Resources, you will serve as a strategic partner to organizational leadership, ensuring our HR operations meet all federal, state, and local regulations while supporting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will oversee compliance programs, accreditation preparation, licensure and credentialing processes, HR investigations, workforce analytics, and the development of HR policies and training.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Compliance Leadership — Maintain compliance with employment laws, conduct audits, oversee regulatory reporting, and lead policy development.
- Accreditation & Survey Readiness — Ensure HR readiness for accreditation, licensing, and regulatory surveys; coordinate corrective action plans.
- Credentialing & Licensure Oversight — Manage clinician credentialing in collaboration with the Finance Department, privileging, and licensure tracking systems.
- Employee Relations & Investigations — Provide guidance on complex employee matters, conduct investigations, and oversee unemployment claims.
- HR Systems & Workforce Analytics — Lead HRIS administration, ensure data integrity, and develop dashboards and reports for leadership.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Healthcare
- Administration, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- Experience in compliance, accreditation readiness, credentialing, training, and employee relations preferred.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR are a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite
