Summary Generated by Built In

Leads Ezurio's internal AI portfolio and adoption, working with every function to find high-value opportunities, prioritize investment, and deliver measurable results. This is a hands-on role that prototypes solutions to prove value, then hands them to implementation partners to build for production. This role will also make sure our data and knowledge are ready for AI to use, and work with the executive team to evolve our AI strategy. The role reports to the VP of IT and works with an executive steering group. It is an individual contributor role that delivers through business teams, partners, and IT. Product and customer-facing AI are out of scope, though you will collaborate with product teams where tools or data overlap. This is a remote position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIESSolution Design and Prototyping
  • Map workflows end to end with process owners and decide where AI, conventional automation, or a process change is the right answer.
  • Build working prototypes using current agent, automation, and API tools to prove value before committing budget or partner effort.
  • Define evaluations, human-approval points, and success criteria, then hand proven solutions to implementation partners to harden for production, with the business owner accountable for adoption and results.
Portfolio and Strategy
  • Own the internal AI use-case portfolio: intake, prioritization, funding, and retirement. Provide quarterly reporting on expected benefits and actual results.
  • Maintain a practical roadmap showing where Ezurio should build, buy, or wait.
  • Manage the AI investment budget from annual planning through approval and tracking.
Data and Knowledge Readiness
  • Prepare structured and unstructured company information so AI tools can use it reliably.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure data quality, governance, accessibility, and scalability.
Delivery and Adoption
  • Select and manage technology providers and implementation partners, working with them to deliver solutions within Ezurio's security and integration standards.
  • Drive adoption of the tools we already own, focused on training, identifying functional champions, usage reporting, and license optimization.
  • Run scheduled effectiveness reviews for every AI tool and agent. Rework or decommission what we don't use.

Governance and Reporting

  • Partner with IT and Legal to define acceptable-use, data-handling, and security guardrails.
  • Maintain AI governance practices that support Ezurio’s ethical and standard and comply with the EU AI Act, GDPR, and CCPA.

  • Communication: Explains complex AI topics clearly to non-technical audiences and senior leadership.
  • Regulatory fluency: Familiar with the EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA, and relevant data protection standards.
  • Mindset: Comfortable taking initiative and working through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
