About the JobAspen Standard Wealth is scaling rapidly through acquisition, and we're hiring a Director of Advisor Platform Onboarding to lead the conversion of newly acquired partner firms onto Aspen's standard technology platform. This person owns the full migration journey — moving firms from their legacy CRM, portfolio accounting, billing, trading, and client portal systems onto Aspen's Advisor Platform suite — while coordinating partner firm teams and technology vendors to deliver smooth, high-quality transitions.
This role is ideal for an operator who has driven multiple system conversions, builds trust quickly with advisor teams, and thrives in a fast-moving, acquisitive environment.
This role is fully onsite in Chicago with 10% travel required.
ResponsibilitiesBelow are the core areas of work for this role. Over time, responsibilities may evolve, but this should provide a clear view of what to expect.
Own end-to-end migration of acquired firms from legacy platforms onto Aspen's Advisor Platform suite, coordinating partner firm teams and technology vendors across all workstreams
Build and maintain repeatable migration playbooks to support scalable onboarding as Aspen continues to acquire
Lead data migration and validate conversion accuracy across CRM, portfolio accounting, billing, trading, and client portal systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for partner firm leadership and ops teams throughout the migration process
Maintain delivery tracking and reporting across all active onboarding workstreams
Collaborate with Aspen's Technology, Operations, and Deal & Integration teams to align onboarding with firm priorities
5-10 years in financial services technology, operations, or wealth-focused SaaS
Direct track record of executing system conversions or platform migrations — ideally multiple, across different firms or environments
Strong understanding of financial services operations — ideally with exposure to wealth management workflows such as client onboarding, fee billing, or portfolio reporting
Comfortable getting hands-on with data to reconcile and validate accuracy during system conversions
Project management and stakeholder management across complex, multi-vendor workstreams
INTERPERSONAL SAVVY – Reads people and situations accurately and adjusts behavior to work effectively with others.
MANAGING COMPLEXITY – Navigates competing priorities and interdependencies without oversimplifying.
