The Director of Accreditation and Licensure Compliance oversees system-wide institutional and programmatic accreditation and regulatory licensure compliance and provides leadership in researching new regulations, informing College staff of regulatory changes, reporting College compliance to accreditation and other regulatory agencies, and securing and maintaining state authorizations which govern the College’s educational mission.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, interpret, and communicate accreditation, licensure, and regulatory requirements to the College community to support institutional compliance and continuous improvement
  • Serve as the College's primary institutional resource for accreditation, state authorization, and federal educational compliance requirements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between accrediting bodies, licensing agencies, regulatory organizations, and the College
  • Develop, coordinate, and communicate compliance reports, substantive change proposals, annual reports, self-studies, and other institutional documents demonstrating compliance with accreditation and licensure requirements
  • Lead and support comprehensive accreditation reviews, self-studies, monitoring reports, and site visits across all campuses
  • Manage state authorization activities and related regulatory filings to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
  • Ensure College publications, disclosures, websites, catalogs, and related communications comply with applicable accreditation, state, and federal requirements
  • Maintain organized accreditation, licensure, and compliance documentation utilizing enterprise systems, including SharePoint or comparable document management platforms, to support record retention, collaboration, reporting, and audit readiness
  • Analyze and synthesize institutional data from multiple sources to support accreditation reporting, regulatory submissions, self-studies, and other institutional compliance documentation
  • Manage the Accreditation and Licensure Office budget and supervise assigned staff
  • Serve on College academic, clinical, administrative, planning, and governance committees, workgroups, and task forces as needed
  • Comply with all College policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required; three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and inconsistencies
  • Knowledge/experience in higher education quality assurance systems and processes.
  • Knowledge/experience of IPEDS, Snapshot, and PCBR
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, critical analysis and statistical abilities.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with accrediting and licensing staff
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with time pressures and frequent interruptions
  • Ability to utilize personal computer and various software packages
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work various hours as job requires

Ability to travel as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • PhD or other advanced degree in related area preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Perform sedentary to light work in a ventilated, lighted, and temperature-controlled office setting 
  • Frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the workday
