The Role
This is the kind of scope people usually have to start their own company to get. You will own marketing for the entire company, working side by side with the CEO, with your decisions showing up in real revenue within weeks, not years. Do this well and you grow with the brand into the marketing leader of the entire company. You don’t need to know everything, only have a willingness to learn and always continuously grow.

Your work will influence revenue, profit, team performance, and brand growth every single day. You will be the CEO's strategic marketing partner and creative right hand: someone who can take direction while constantly researching, innovating, and bringing new ideas to the table. You operate independently, make sound decisions on the CEO's behalf, lead the team with clear expectations, and hold every person to real performance, not clocked hours or surface-level activity. You drive decisions through data and keep the KPIs you set accurate, meaningful, and constantly re-evaluated so they truly move the business forward.

The Two Skills That Matter Most
These two are non-negotiable. Everything else can be learned.

1. You are a marketing and creative genius who knows how to sell. Ecommerce is now basically a media company, and creative and video is king. You build and elevate the offer with copy that sells on our product pages and across every channel: Instagram, FB, TikTok, and Google. You elevate the product story and the image, and above all you make video that converts, producing founder-led and product content that drives real sales and getting others producing it too.

2. You build a high-performing team and hold it accountable. You set KPIs that move profit, hold every person to shipped and verifiable results, move fast, stay responsive, and own your team's output. If the work is not landing, you fix it.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Business Growth
- Own and execute TopFoxx's marketing strategy across every revenue-generating channel, with quarterly, monthly, and campaign-specific plans.
- Build and own the marketing calendar so every launch, promotion, and seasonal campaign is planned and executed, and run the bi-weekly marketing meeting.
- Find new growth opportunities through customer insights, market research, and competitor analysis, prioritizing by impact and ROI.
- Own the end-to-end customer journey and funnel: acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.

Creative & Video Leadership (Make and Guide Content That Converts)
- Own the creative vision and make video that converts. You can make content yourself, even scrappily: filming on your phone, editing in Canva, or directing a video editor. What matters is the creative eye and the ability to make, guide, and lead content that sells.
- Get UGC creators, contractors, and the team producing volume that ships consistently, and guide them on exactly what to make for instagram & tiktok ads or organic.
- Build and elevate the offer with copy that sells on product pages, ads, and email, built on emotion, not just features.
- Review and approve all creative before it goes live, keeping a consistent, premium brand identity, and contribute ideas for launches, packaging, website, and brand storytelling.

Paid Media & Organic Social Growth
- Own the creative strategy for paid media, developing high-converting ad creative for Meta, TikTok, Google, and emerging platforms.
- Lead organic growth across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, including founder-led content: planning, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and optimization.
- Analyze performance using ROAS, CAC, CTR, CPA, and conversion rates, and run structured creative and A/B testing to improve.
- Spot trends and viral opportunities that fit TopFoxx, and optimize spend based on data and profitability.

Influencer, Affiliate & TikTok Shop Growth
- Build systems that scale our affiliate engine and TikTok Shop profitably, turning creators into consistent revenue.
- Expand influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, gifting, and creator collaborations that drive measurable results. Growth-hack ways for affiliates to work with us and stand out.
- Increase high-quality UGC and affiliate activation, and continuously optimize ROI.

Website Conversion, Email & SMS Retention
- Improve website conversion through UX, merchandising, landing pages, and product pages, running tests to lift AOV and conversion rate with team.
- Own lifecycle marketing across email and SMS: campaigns, automations, segmentation, and retention. 
- Improve open rates, click-through, revenue per recipient, repeat purchase rate, and lifetime value, keeping messaging on brand.
- Research new Shopify apps and tools that improve website performance.

Build & Lead a High-Performing Team
- Set KPIs that move profit, and hold every person, contractors, interns, and UGC creators, to shipped and verifiable output, not activity.
- Develop managers who hold their own direct reports accountable. You own your department's outcome, and if the work is not landing, you fix it fast.
- Direct and mentor fellow marketers, designers, video editors, and content creators with real-time feedback, stay responsive, and recognize great work publicly.

Product Launches, Analytics & Financial Performance
- Lead marketing for every product launch from planning through post-launch analysis, coordinating timelines across Creative, Operations, Customer Service, and Leadership.
- Build KPI dashboards across every channel and report weekly on the numbers that actually move profit.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, marketing spend, CAC, and ROI, and develop forecasts and budget recommendations backed by accurate data.
- Plus whatever else the business needs, including helping with wholesale. This role is not limited to the responsibilities above.

What We're Looking For
One thing is non-negotiable: you have worked inside a small business or startup, where you had to make a small budget work hard and there was no big team or big spend to hide behind. If you had this experience you understand the difference of what that means compared to a career att large companies with big budgets, Beyond that, the list below is strongly preferred, not strict, and if you are missing a few but learn fast, we are open.

- 5+ years in digital, growth, creative, or brand marketing, preferably DTC ecommerce, used to wearing many hats.
- 3+ years leading creative or marketing teams with real accountability.
- You strategize AND execute: just as comfortable building the plan as filming, editing, and shipping it yourself.
- Strong copywriting that sells, a sharp eye for the offer and conversion, and the ability to shoot, direct, and edit short-form video.
- Experience making creative for paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google) and briefing or managing an agency.
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and GA4, and fluent in setting up KPIs and tracking correct ROAS, CAC, CTR, CVR, and AOV.
- Comfortable on camera, AI-proficient, and able to juggle many projects at once, produce high-quality work fast, and pivot as needed.
- You are scrappy with a shoestring budget. Your ideas have to bring in money, not spend it hoping something works.
