Job Description

• · Candidate who has shown propensity for problem solving and implementing unique solutions. (Candidate should be able to describe use case and clear challenges and solutions). Demonstrate history of overcoming obstacles with innovation

• · Jenkins Expert

• · Proficient with Groovy (can write groovy script), Perl, Java

• · Absolutely need to be good communicator & team player

• · Needs to be passionate about testing. Junit, Sonar, Cucumber, Selenium, Lisa test virtualization and performance testing experience a definite plus

Responsibilities:

• · Understand the current and future architecture, features and capabilities in house developed deployment platform.

• · Thorough and effective daily communication with various impacted teams as required.

• · Advice teams on steps required to prepare their project for the pipeline, including Bit Bucket, Stash, branching strategy, DevOps, etc.

• · Work with the cross functional projects teams to implement their requirements and answer any questions from Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery perspective.

• · Configuring SVN distributed platform for multiple applications and automating builds using Jenkins or other tools.

• · Develop all necessary Unix/build scripts required for deployment automation etc.

• · Coordinate overall deployments, create deployment documents, release plans and run books

• · Troubleshooting application/middleware applications

• · Taking responsibility to set up, Configure and deploy applications in DEV, QA, SIT, UAT, Prod and DR environments

• · Acquire final approvals from QA and development teams for application deployments

• · Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues

• · Build and maintain development environments

Required Skills:

• · (5-8) years Build / Deployment experience with J2EE based deployments

• · Strong experience with DevOps implementation

• · Unix shell scripting, Perl scripting

• · Jenkins integration for builds

• · Maven/Maven2, ANT and advanced Shell scripting

• · Artifactory or Nexus Maven repository understanding

• · Apache, Tomcat Webspher & Weblogic knowledge

• · Source code management tools such as Subversion, GIT

• · Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Cucumber, Selenium

• · Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

• · Coordination experience with cross section of teams

• · Advanced understanding of Windows and Unix O/S and usage

Desired Skills:

• · Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server

• · Python, Gradle, Groovy exposure is a plus

• · Experience with application containerization - Docker , Virtualization on AWS Platform

• · JPMC exposure is a plus
