About This Role:
Manages infrastructure operations for application teams including hardware, networking, virtual infrastructure, server and VM configurations and storage. Provides support to application teams for these areas and ensures that they are properly maintained. Additional responsibilities include Developing, Maintaining and act as liaisons between application teams and other operations teams, such as data center operations, infrastructure teams and sgl dba teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Creates and manages Virtual Machines.
- Works with Development teams to create and manage server configurations.
- Manages storage volume deployments.
- Promptly responds to help requests from Development teams; responds to and solves system alerts.
- Automates routine tasks, such as patching, service restarts and data volume refreshes.
- Define and implement automated provisioning strategies using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Configure alerts and advanced telemetry dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana stacks
What You’ll Need:
- 1-3 years working experience in infrastructure administration
- Ability to seek and provide constructive feedback
- Advanced proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Ability to appropriately shift priorities on the fly.
