We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This position is ideal for someone with foundational technical knowledge who is eager to grow their skills in cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices with a particular emphasis on improving observability. You will work alongside senior team members to maintain infrastructure, implement automation, and enhance our monitoring capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure
  • Help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to infrastructure as code development using Terraform and GitOps approaches
  • Learn and apply container orchestration concepts with Kubernetes
  • Focus on improving system observability through metrics, logging, and tracing
  • Implement and enhance monitoring solutions using Prometheus stack and OpenTelemetry
  • Support deployment and release processes
  • Document procedures and technical solutions
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application observability
  • Assist with scripting and automation tasks using Python or Bash

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, system administration, or a related technical role
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command line
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability concepts
  • Some experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • Eagerness to learn and problem-solve
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus stack)
  • Experience with log aggregation systems
  • Understanding of basic security practices
  • Basic knowledge of OpenTelemetry framework
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes)
  • Interest in contributing to incident management processes
