DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about AWS Cloud technology, passionate about helping customers succeed, passionate about quality and truly enjoys what they do. The qualified candidate for AWS Cloud Engineer position is someone who has a can-do attitude and is an innovative thinker.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand client’s infrastructure and various applications running on the servers.
Write, Review, and Approve Automation and Infrastructure code.
Work with Project teams to build automation pipelines for application environment deployments
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
Able to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
Evaluate potential single-points of failure within the Cloud infrastructure;
Recommend risk mitigation next steps to build out a high availability solution.
Apply experience, technical knowledge and innovative techniques to resolve complex Operations challenges.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ Years of Strong experience in Apache/Tomcat, Linux and open source technology stacks
- Work with team to design, build and support a robust internal PAAS (platform as a service) capability
- Hands on with AWS cloud and its various services like VPC, EC2, RDS, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, Cloud Front, S3, Lambda, IOT, Cloud Formation etc.
- For cloud environments, establishing new DevOps practices. Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools, practices, process & applications like Ansible, Salt, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
- Effectively communicate issues, risks and dependencies with project stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of GCP and Azure cloud would be a plus.
AWS Solution Architect / DevOps Engineer certification will be preferred
Create infrastructure architectural design for IT Cloud deployments
A desire to engage in continuous learning to ensure knowledge of latest DevOps Technologies and AWS product update
Skills Required

- Experience establishing DevOps practices and managing production infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, including Ansible, Salt, Git, and Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cloud security solutions
- Ability to communicate issues, risks, dependencies, architecture, and recommendations effectively
- Knowledge of GCP and Azure cloud platforms
- AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
- Experience creating infrastructure architectural designs for IT cloud deployments
- Commitment to continuous learning about DevOps technologies and AWS product updates
