Department Summary
We are looking for a mid-level UX/UI designer to push the boundaries of new experiences at DISH and its coinciding brands. This role will work closely with a talented team of designers and other creatives, product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to help us shape the future, from TV to 5G.
OneTen DISH Creative is a full-service, in-house agency focused on delivering high-impact creative grounded in business knowledge, design expertise and an invested passion for our brands. Our award-winning team is one of the largest and fastest-growing internal creative teams in Denver.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Define visual user interfaces for mobile and web based applications; collaborating with other designers across OneTen and DISH to focus on UI, product branding, and content presentation
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fidelity sketches and prototypes
Work with UX researchers to conduct independent research along the product development lifecycle, from early exploratory work, iterating on solutions, to evaluating the final product
Follow a user experience design process from concept to execution; approach design from a user's perspective, listening to users and balancing their needs alongside business goals and technical capabilities.
Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction, influencing key metrics set by stakeholders and senior designers
Make design defensible with user backed research, data driven decision making, and persuasive storytelling
Communicate ideas cohesively and drive the conversation from beginning to end, including asking for specific feedback and focusing on areas of greater importance to the goal of the design

Skills, Experience and Requirements

You have 2+ years of experience designing product features for consumer products and apps
You are autonomous. You take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way
You are a lifelong learner, you understand the value of user feedback and performance metrics, to help improve your craft
You thrive working in a team environment and are motivated by feedback from designers, users and cross-functional partners
You are fluent in the UX process and the design and prototyping software such as Sketch, Invision, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud. Working with an established design system and UX research software such as UserZoom or Quantum Metric is a plus
You constantly push your limits and search for opportunities to become a better designer and leader
You are smart, confident, highly competent-and humble enough not to have an ego
You have a desire to inspire and be inspired

Salary Range
Compensation: $57,400.00/Year - $94,000.00/Year

Pathan oversees the architecture direction, best practices and engineering deliverables at DISH Technologies (DT).
