WHOM WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Marketing Manager with a strong SMM & PR focus to own our external voice and build credibility in a highly technical cybersecurity domain. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with real ownership over brand voice, visibility, and thought leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own and execute SMM & PR strategy aligned with business goals
Build and manage content and media plans across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, blog, and website
Create technical content — turning security research, product features, and engineering work into deep, credible material (technical blog posts, breakdowns, explainers) that resonates with a practitioner audience, not just general marketing copy
Create clear, engaging content around cybersecurity, AI, and product updates
Identify trends, news hooks, and PR opportunities in cyber & AI
Support conference presence, including announcements, live coverage, and post-event content
Collaborate directly with founders, product, sales, and design
Build relationships with media, partners, and communities
Track performance, prepare monthly reports, and optimize based on metrics
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in Marketing, PR, or SMM
Proven experience promoting IT, cybersecurity, or deep-tech products
Demonstrated ability to write technical content (e.g. technical blog posts, whitepapers, or deep-dive explainers) — not just top-level marketing copy
Strong SMM track record with real cases of growing a targeted audience
Experience working with international or top-tier tech media (e.g. TechCrunch, WIRED, VentureBeat, The Verge, WSJ, Fortune)
Hands-on experience using AI tools for content and marketing workflows
Excellent English copywriting skills
Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, credible messaging
Ability to organize lightweight marketing ops, including content calendar, contractors, and timelines
Proactive, ownership-driven mindset; comfortable operating in an early-stage startup

Skills Required
- 4+ years building user-facing products as a design engineer or equivalent hybrid role
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
- Build and maintain a frontend design system in React + TypeScript + TailwindCSS
- Experience with Figma (design handoff and systems)
- Experience with WebSockets
- Experience with Docker
- Ability to own design decisions end-to-end without a dedicated design team
- Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design
- Experience working directly with engineers and PMs in fast-moving environments
- Experience designing for developer tools, data-intensive dashboards, or AI interfaces
- Familiarity with human-in-the-loop workflows, LLM agent UX, or security tools
- Contributions to open-source UI frameworks or design systems
- Background in early-stage startups or cross-functional product squads
- Interest in cybersecurity and/or AI-enabled tooling
