Pay Range - $79,000.00 to $102,000.00 annually (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills.)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The electrical engineer will be responsible for supporting circuit design, assembly and testing for modules and boards. In addition to supporting new product development efforts, the engineer will also support production electrical testing of production products in our Assembly Technologies Division. The engineer will work with a diverse team including layout designers (both internal and external), electrical design engineers, RF engineers, assembly process engineers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under limited direct supervision, work with experienced design and test engineers to design new PCB layouts from schematics, create assembly BOM and required manufacturing and assembly data files
- Review circuit design for manufacturability. Provide input for ways to improve design, manufacturability, or reliability
- Support testing and troubleshooting of prototype circuits. Prepare and present results from testing.
- Utilize Altium as the primary circuit design tool. May present designs for review by other engineers
- Troubleshoot issues with customer supplied test equipment utilized by production
- May train technicians and operators on electrical testing
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
- Minimum 4+ years of work experience as an engineer in electronic design, manufacturing and/or testing
- Understanding of the various aspects of electrical engineering including analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, control systems, communication protocols, and power systems
- Familiar with standard electronic engineering lab equipment, instruments and tools
- Programming and Design experience with tools such as AutoCAD, ProE, MatLab, PSpice
- Able to learn quickly and enjoys working in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills a plus
- Familiar with simulation software a plus
