Job Description
The Global Network Analytics (GNA) team within the Payments Services business unit, is seeking a Principal Analytics Information Management Scientist to lead initiatives covering various aspects of data life cycle including but not limited to developing Information strategy, Information road-map, Data Analysis, Data Acquisition, Data Quality, Data Integration, Metadata and Business Intelligence.
The analytics team apart from providing insights to the Payments Business unit also plays a lead role in implementing data governance practices. One of the team’s core responsibility is to represent the Payments unit as a SME (Subject matter Expertise). The team works very closely with Business and BT units to understand the latest business and technology needs and implementing the same in most effective manner. The team delivers their results by leveraging the following tools and software
Tech Stack
SAS for Machine Learning models, Python, Teradata, Snowflake, Airflow, H20, SQL, UNIX, Tableau & MS suite of products and Data Management tools.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a Product Owner representing the Analytics and Information Management team gathering product features and documenting user stories.
- Leads Information Management and Analytics Agile teams and facilitate sprint grooming, sprint planning, prioritizing user stories and setting deadlines.
- Collaborates with Senior Management, Department heads in developing new product features/capabilities/Road map.
- Serves as a liaison/single point of contact between Business Technology teams and Decision Management on business side
- Manage multiple Payment Services projects through all life cycle phases using SDLC methodologies.
- Work closely with business partners to clearly define and capture project requirements.
- Designs, develops, implements and sustains a long-term enterprise data management and governance program incorporating industry frameworks, templates and expert organizations
- Apply M/L techniques to monitor data quality and raise alerts on data abnormalities
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or related
- 8+ years of work in Analytics and Information Management, or related
- 6+ years of work in Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Metadata Management, or related
- In lieu of education experience, 8+ years of consulting and professional services in Analytics and Information Management
- In lieu of education experience, 8+ years of domain knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Banking, Credit Card, Fraud, or Risk
Preferred Qualifications
