Job Description
As this Data Engineer you will work with our CVS Clinical Trial Recruitment partners and leading global biopharma clients to deliver qualified patients into ongoing pharmaceutical clinical trials to improve and accelerate clinical research for drug and vaccine development. As a Data Engineer on the team you will develop component of a multi-year Recruitment platform products and support clinical trial recruitment operations.
Some of the Primary Responsibilities you'll have include:• Implementing components of the Clinical Recruitment Platform (CRP).• Implementing the strategy and roadmap to establish and maintain a comprehensive patient database, design process and governance to manage data assets.• Working with a large cross-functional team developing product, including multiple digital scrum teams, IT project, legal and other partners.• Identifying, assessing, and resolving complex analytical problems, issues, risks and facilitating issue resolution and risk mitigation.• Responding promptly to the needs of end-users, and meeting Service Level Agreements as defined with clients.• Developing, testing, iterating, deploying, and continually innovating and improving current products.• Owning deliverable timelines to ensure stable and steady recruitment operations.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,000
Maximum: 128,700
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications• 2+ years of experience, academic and professional in Data Engineering.• 2+ years of Programming experience with Python, Java, Scala, or C++.• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL.

Preferred Qualifications• 6 + months of experience with cloud-based platforms (i.e. Azure, GPC, AWS) - Azure Preferred.• 3 + months of experience with Snowflake SQL/Spark for Data Engineering pipelines.• 3 + months of experience or knowledge in deployment practices using containerization (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker).• Experience building automated data pipelines.• Experience performing data analysis and data exploration.• Experience working in an agile delivery environment.• Exposure/understanding of DevOps best practice and CICD (i.e. Jenkins).• Experience working in multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git).• Experience with big data frameworks (i.e. Hadoop and Spark).
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline
Master's degree or PhD preferred
