Consumer Researcher (Multiple Locations)
**Considering candidates in San Mateo, Santa Barbara, or US-based remote**
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Consumer Researcher to join our collaborative team to design and develop end-to-end consumer research activities on our Evidation (formerly, Achievement) platform (my.evidation.com). We seek candidates that can maintain a flexible mindset, including adaptiveness to change, openness to revising processes, and embracing and learning from challenges. An ideal candidate will have experience collaborating closely with quantitative analysts to deliver meaningful insights in the fields of digital health or pharma research. Successful candidates will thrive on creative problem solving and facilitating collaboration with a cross-functional team in order to generate informative research for internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute primary consumer/market research projects to answer key business questions arising from external clients and internal teams; determine appropriate research methodology based on project needs
- Communicate complex insights (e.g., verbally, via slides, via written documents); proactively anticipate questions and manage conversations with clients and Evidation Health stakeholders
- Maintain expertise in consumer and market research methodologies, with focus on bringing in new methodologies and best practices
- Build and develop high-performing Consumer Research pipelines, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders as a research or subject-matter consultant, on research implementation, and to streamline and improve internal processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree)
- Knowledge of and experience implementing a variety of consumer and/or market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative methods
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (including presentation and listening skills)
- Ability to communicate problems and potential solutions when faced with ambiguous requirements, and translate to different audiences in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively solve problems and influence decisions across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
- Previous UX/UI and/or digital health product, or pharma/healthcare product research experience
- A passion for delivering an excellent experience for research participants and digital health consumers
