Job Description:

We are seeking a Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA) to support a mission-critical program. In this role, you will work closely with other analysts and mission stakeholders to analyze systems and network activity to identify vulnerabilities, assess unauthorized activity across enterprise environments, investigate security events, and de-obfuscate data. Additionally, you will analyze system alerts and provide actionable recommendations that improve the security posture and operational effectiveness of customer systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong foundation in computer network defense and experience safeguarding mission-critical environments through proactive analysis and incident response. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • An Associate of Science (A.S.); Bachelor of Science (B.S.); Master of Science (M.S.); or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security.
  • Minimum years of relevant experience based on education:
    • A.S. + 7 years
    • B.S. + 5 years
    • M.S. + 3 years
    • Ph.D. + 2 years
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Computer or information systems design and development
    • Software development or programming
    • Information, cyber, or network security
    • Vulnerability analysis
    • Penetration testing
    • Computer forensics
    • Information assurance
    • Systems engineering
  • Experience with network and/or system administration.
  • Experience collecting information from multiple sources including intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs. 
  • Experience developing mitigation strategies to strengthen network defenses and protect enterprise systems and network infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of networking and communications technologies, including traditional wired networks, wireless communications (Wi-Fi and cellular), collaboration platforms such as video teleconferencing (VTC), and the hardware and software that support these environments.
